NHS IQ Delivering NHS Services Seven Days a Week event

On Tuesday 22 July, over 300 delegates attended the NHS Improving Quality, delivering services, seven days a week event in London. Representatives from 13 seven day early adopter communities and other stakeholders, commisioners and provider organisations came together to share their learning, challenges and progress in developing seven day services. Sir Bruce Keogh, NHS England's national clinical director delivered the plenary address.

During this event, the HiSLAC Project exhibited some of our work and provided a short verbal presentation about the study. This event allowed us to network with key stakeholders and to meet some of our Local Project Leads from trusts participating in the project. Presenters at the event provided insights into the work of the early adopters from the Seven Day Services Improvement Programme, as well as innovations and improvements from others across the country. The audience consisted of NHS organisations, policy makers and commissioners, and interested public members.
