HiSLAC holds first Collaborators’ Meeting

Clinicians and NHS managers from across the country attended the first HiSLAC Collaborators’ Meeting at the Royal College of Anaesthetists this week.

The research team shared findings from Phase 1 and updates on Phase 2 of HiSLAC as well as facilitating discussions on their work. Guest speakers included Prof Sir Bruce Keogh, Medical Director of NHS England and Prof Dame Sue Bailey, Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges.

"Thank you to everyone who attended our first Collaborators’ Meeting," said HiSLAC Chief Investigator Prof Julian Bion, "It was great to see so many people come so far to discuss our research and help shape the future of HiSLAC."

The slides from all three sessions of the meeting are available on the resources page http://www.hislac.org/pages/resources.html of this website.
