CLINICIANS AND MANAGERS JOIN FORCES TO SHAPE RESEARCH

Senior clinicians and medical managers from across the country attended the first HiSLAC health economics elicitation workshop.

The advisory group represents a range of specialisms including Intensive Care, Emergency and Acute Medicine as well as Thoracic Medicine, Nephrology and Geriatrics.

We’re using their expert experience to develop our preliminary health economics model. Our analysis will review at the cost effectiveness and budget impact of introducing High-Intensity Specialist-Led Acute Care (HiSLAC) on emergency admissions to NHS hospitals at weekends.
